LPCUG Board meeting
October 27, 2010
Attendance: Paul Hover, Phil Smith, Bob Warwick, Sandy Meeker, Sharon Smith, Carol Wiley
1. Revision of Club By-laws:
a. Reflect what we are doing
b. Changes to handle the treasury
i. Need to file 900N with the IRS each year
ii. Account is set up at TLC Community Credit Union. It requires two signatures. (President and Secretary/Treasurer)
c. MOTION by P. Smith to accept the By-Law Changes. SUPPORTED by Meeker. MOTION CARRIED.
2. Nominations of Officers
a. MOTION by P. Smith to stay with the current slate of officers. SUPPORTED by Meeker. MOTION CARRIED.
i. President: Warwick
ii. Vice-president- Hover
iii. Secretary/Treasurer- S. Smith
b. The nominations will be presented to the Club in November. Vote in December.
3. Future program suggestions
a. Seems more time needs to be devoted to questions and answers.
b. Warwick will not be available in January,
c. Leave flexibility in the line up for topic that arise throughout the year.
d. Google Chrome internet browser
e. Windows Live/ Windows 7: possibly Kevin Brooks
f. Ebay: Ray Lennard
g. Digital cameras: Cletus
h. Cloud: Programs maintained on line
i. Setting up a wireless router
j. Picasa Digital Photo
k. Book readers: possibly part of a Show and Tell.
l. VOIP, Skype and Magic Jack
m. Websites: Meeker

a. Possible upcoming expenses:
i. Projector light bulb (several hundred dollars)
ii. An updated projector
b. Sharon Smith has the checks and the deposit stamp from the Credit Union
