This one requires a little explanation. When this program first came out, it was a simple, non-intrusive program that gave you local weather conditions, alerts, radar maps, and webcams--all in a box on your desktop. When you closed the box, it would retreat to the taskbar where it would give you temperature, and would blink and sound alerts for severe weather. Clicking on the taskbar icon would bring the box back to the desktop. What could be simpler?
How to make a good thing worse! The jazzed it up so much that the latest version takes up the whole desktop and not much more information. I saved an installation file of the older program which can be downloaded here. It may require a simple serial number which is included as a separate text file. The program was a free program.
