A Peek at New MS Products: Vista & Explorer 7

Join us on Friday, March10th, at 7:30 P.M. in the meeting room of the Lenawee County Library in Adrian.  Use the back door to the library which leads directly to the meeting room.

We will take a peek at two new products from Microsoft that are still in Beta testing.  Vista (previously codenamed Longhorn) is the long awaited new operating system that will replace Windows XP.  Explorer 7 is a rewrite of Internet Explorer, presumably to make it more secure and adding features that will probably be familiar to those who have played with the FireFox browser.  The Beta version of Explorer 7 can be downloaded on the web for those of you who can't wait.  Your webmaster is not so patiently waiting for Microsoft to send him a Beta version of Vista.  I have a machine all cleaned off and waiting for this software to be installed.
